Notes - Although Sarah is shown on the 1881Census as being born in Liverpool all checks for her birth has drawn a blank. Therfore it is assumed that she was born in Dublin, Ireland as stated in the 1891 Census and that is why her birth cant be found in England.
A search of the 1901 Census only revealed two Sarah Durrances.

Sarah Durrance, Aged 50, Born Ripon, Yorkshire. Census Belgrave, Leicester. Hosiery Counter Hand.
The first fits perfectly with birth place and age, although she gives her marrital status as Widow. This could have been because of the stigma of seperated or divorced woman in those days.
She was certainly not shown as being with Charles on the night of the 1901 census, so either this is the correct Sarah or maybe she had returned to Ireland.

There was no record of a wife being present although Wordsworth stated he was married. Research of the IGI shows Wordsworth Donisthorpe married Annie Maria Anderson born 1854. The 1901 also shows Annie Donisthorpe Aged 46, living in Elvington, Yorkshire and "Living on own means". So it looks as though Wordsworth Donisthorpe was also seperated or divorced.
No idea how Sarah managed to procure this appointment so far from Lincolnshire.
