  IMPORTANT NOTE This second wife of James is based entirely on the 1901 Census entry. And the fact that aunt Bessie said that her father Arthur Clarke was an orphan and that he had a sister called Bessie. There is no Bessie from the marriage to Eliza Dales( unless these are her children) The two children on the 1901 census were born in Leicester.Also the place of birth of Arthur looks like Ewart Thorpe. Living at:- 15 Kempsford Road,Lambeth, London( if marriage to is correct}
