Searched for Harriet Fisher in 1881 Census. No likely ones found. Also searched for Harriet Durrance none found. Try 1901, 1871 & 1891 Mathew Fisher married Harriet Durrance in 1863. Harriet couldn't be found on the 1881 Census either as Harriet Fisher or Harriet Durrance. The only Mathew Fisher in the 1881 was - Mathew Fisher, Boader, unmarried, 41 years old, Born Melton, Leicester, Rail Lab. Census place Victoria Rd, Humberstone, Leicester. Correct Age and birth place but is unmarried. By the 1891 Census Mathew was back with his parents in Burton Lazars, again no sign of Harriet. Did Harriet die between 1863 and 1881? Did they have any children? A Harriet Fisher was buried 18 Dec 1892 Aged 59years at Canwick Road Cemetery, Lincoln.
